Ron Tuttle is a veteran drummer and musician who has made a lasting impression on the music scene. Let’s explore his amazing journey:

- Early Influences and Local Scene:

  - Ron grew up in Portland, Oregon, where he was exposed to live music from a young age. His father, also a drummer, taught him the mesmerizing beats of Motown.

  - He was inspired by the local and regional bands that he saw perform, and developed a love for drumming.

- Nashville Adventures:

  - Ron moved to Nashville, the epicenter of the music industry. There, he toured and played with Grammy-winning groups such as DC Talk and Rebecca St. James.

  - When he was not on the road, he worked with some of the best local musicians in Nashville, including the legendary Donna Summer, Joseph Wooten (Steve Miller Band), and Allyson Taylor (singer-songwriter).

- Return to Portland:

  - Ron came back to his hometown of Portland. Since then, he has become one of the most in-demand funk and soul drummers in the city.

  - He currently plays the drums for Soul Vaccination, Portland’s hottest and most popular funk/soul horn band.

- Collaborations and Notable Work

  - Ron’s rhythm has graced the stage alongside top Portland artists like Oregon Music Hall of Fame artist LaRhonda Steele, the Bluewave Band, the late great Margo Tufo Band, Ben Jones, and many other local artists.

  - He has also worked and served as the Musical Director with Michael Firestone for over a decade, known for his remarkable Michael Jackson impersonation show I AM King (no longer in production).

  - Additionally, Ron has contributed to the Purple Xperience, a Prince Tribute band, and played for iconic groups like The Platters, Motown Review, Coasters, and The Drifters.
